28th March 2019 Beachy Head Overcast, clear and mild wind light and variable

We arrived at Birling and a female type Black Redstart was waiting for us on the fence rail by the beach steps. We sea-watched from 06.20-07.05 but again virtually no birds were moving. I can't remember such a poor March for sea-watching. We then covered Birling lane, radio mast bushes, Icky Ridge, Hotel Garden, Old Trapping Area and Shooters Bottom. LP was covering Belle Tout wood area.
Very little seen on the Headland, a Fieldfare and female type Merlin proved to be the best.
