15th August, 2018 Beachy Head Overcast mild WNW 4-5

A breezy morning which made birding the sites difficult. We only made a brief 2 hour visit and covered Birling lane, Shooters Bottom and the Old Trapping Area. In the areas covered very few migrants were present and again no diurnal migration was seen.

Autumn Ladies Tresses we could only see 2 at Birling lane, this time last year over 200

                                                                             

Could only find 2 Autumn Ladies Tresses at Birling,

last year c200 were showing.
