2nd August, 2017 Beachy Head Overcast with rain later cool S-SW 3 increasing to 5

What a difference a day makes. We covered Birling lane and scrub, Belle Tout wood and area, Shooters Bottom, Old Trapping Area, Hotel Garden and Icky Ridge. We met up with RB and RE was again ringing in the Hollow.
After yesterday's good fall of migrants, very few migrants were present on the headland with a Grasshopper Warbler being the highlight, while RE numbers were also down although in the more sheltered Whitbread Hollow migrants were present although still much reduced from yesterday.
