31st July, 2017 Beachy Head Overcast with sunny periods and scattered showers. SW 5 decreasing to 3-4

We covered Birling lane and scrub, short sea-watch, Shooters Bottom, Old Trapping Area and Icky Ridge. Met up with RE who covered the Birling loop, Cornish Farm track, Belle Tout wood and Shooters Bottom. LP was covering several sites on the headland.
Once again the strongish wind made birding difficult and just a handful of new arrivals could be found in the bushes with no diurnal migration seen.
