After several minutes it dropped down to the roof of a garage where it stayed for a couple of minutes and then joined another starling and flew off high until it was out of sight.

We popped up to Beachy Road, Crawley this morning and before I could pick up my bins from the back of the car, Doreen said what is this scruffy looking Starling up the tree. I had virtually parked the car underneath it, (if only all twitching could be this easy).
After several minutes it dropped down to the roof of a garage where it stayed for a couple of minutes and then joined another starling and flew off high until it was out of sight.
