9th August, 2016 Beachy Head Sunny cool at first becoming warm N 3-4 decreasing to 1-2

What a difference a day makes, after the small numbers of migrants seen yesterday, today started slowly but by 07.00 am arrival of Willows and as the cool N wind slackened off so other migrants appeared, by late morning numbers had tailed off. We covered Birling lane and scrub opposite, Shooters Bottom, Old Trapping Area, Hotel Garden and Belle Tout area. Bob and Laurence covered Whitbread Hollow, Cow Gap and the Gully. Combined totals:
