24th August, 2016 Beachy Head Sunny very hot and humid SE 0-1

We could only spend a couple of hours on the Headland owing to other commitments, but many other birders present and even ARK visited Crowlink which is on the western edge of our recording area and had a nice selection of migrants. The following include records from RE, LP, and I have taken the Crowlink records from the SOS web-site. Although not quite the quality of yesterday, still good numbers of night migrants and the overhead migration included good numbers of Yellow Wagtails and Tree Pipits, Swifts and our first passage of House Martins this Autumn.
