11th August, 2016. Beachy Head Overcast cool W 3-4

What a difference a day makes. With another breezy morning we covered Birling lane and scrub opposite, Shooters Bottom, Old Trapping Area meeting up with RE, RKH, and RK also LP was covering areas on the Headland. After recent good falls of Willow Warblers, it was back to normal with very low numbers of Warblers and virtually no diurnal passage recorded. Highlight was yet another juvenile Cuckoo at Birling this brings our Autumn total to 10 individual Cuckoos and is our best Autumn for many years.
