12th May, 2016 Beachy Head Misty and cool becoming sunny and warm NE 3

Covered most of the sites on the Headland including the Rides and walked down into Whitbread Hollow. We received a text message from Laurence advising us that he had just seen 2 Red-rumped Swallows in Whitbread Hollow around the cliffs and we quickly made our way there and joined Laurence and had some excellent views as they were often flying over the cliffs. KG, RKH and RB also joined us and the birds left the Hollow around 10.15am. What were presumably the same two birds were seen in the Shooters Bottom area during the afternoon. Otherwise just the odd new migrant seen in the area. The Hooded Crow was again seen.
