26th October, 2015 Beachy Head and Southease Overcast dull SE 3 increasing to 5

Arrived at dawn and the first hour or so concentrated to see if yesterday's Bluethroat would come out onto the pathway but unfortunately no sign of it. We then covered The Old Trapping Area, Hotel Garden and Icky Ridge, Shooters Bottom and Belle Tout wood. Reasonable arrival of crests including 4 Firecrests although diurnal passage was mainly small parties of finches moving E.

On the drive home, we stopped off at Southease and immediately picked out the Osprey heading  down river towards Rodmell and we watched it until lost to sight.
