Heavy showers with strong breeze. Between the heavy showers manage to cover the Old Trapping Area, Shooters Bottom and the Belle Tout area. Although birding was difficult due to the weather, small numbers of common migrants were seen in the areas covered.

With heavy rain settling in, we decided to visit Langney Point but a 40 minute sea-watch produced only a few Sandwich Terns and 1 Fulmar although the visibility was again poor.
