23rd August, 2015 Beachy Head Overcast with rain mid-morning E 4 to SW 3-4

Stiff breeze on arrival. We walked Birling Lane and then decided on a sea-watch from 07.30-09.30. We then still had time to visit Shooters Bottom and the Old Trapping Area before the onset of rain. Virtually no warblers were present in the bushes but a nice arrival of Yellow Wagtails with several groups seen flying over. Highlight were the 2 Balearic Shearwaters seen at middle distance for around 4-5 minutes per bird.
