Overcast morning with early sea mist and drizzle with a West breeze. Covered a number of sites on the Headland with a Hobby flying along the cliff catching insects was the highlight, otherwise just the resident birds including a number of juvenile Stonechats. Surprising, in the conditions, not a single Swift was seen.
No sign of either the Lady or Lizard Orchids but small numbers of Bee Orchids all appeared to be of the pale variety.
