25th April, 2015 Meare Heath, Somerset

We were just about to leave to Beachy when the mega went off reporting a Hudsonian Godwit in Somerset.
A quick change of plan and the four of us were soon departing to try to twitch the Godwit which would be a new UK tick for us all. We arrived around 3 hours later and luckily the bird was resting on one of the lagoons with a flock of Black-tailed Godwits.
