19th April, 2015 Beachy Head Sunny periods cool at first N-NE 3-5

With a cool strong N wind we didn't attempt a sea-watch and covered most of the sites on the Head but didn't attempt the Birling loop walk owing to the unpleasant wind.
Very few migrants present in the area, but LB's Wryneck from yesterday, was showing on and off at Belle Tout, although at times very elusive.

Carrion Crow with white wing patches.

In the 1990's and the early part of this century, these Crows were

a fairly common sighting on the Headland, but in recent years they

have been far less numerous.
