12th April, 2014 Burgess Hill

Whilst I was having a slow time birding at Beachy, Doreen whilst in the garden, she first had a Sparrowhawk which flew down our drive, brushing Doreen's sleeve with its wing. Some time later she spotted a large raptor soaring which then started to hover above the brick pits and proved to be an Osprey. It was seen hovering on a couple of occasions, but did not appear to catch any fish, and finally a Common Buzzard soared over the garden.
