We arrived at Coldwaltham Brooks at around 8.00 am and a workman was just entering the Sewage Farm and therefore little was seen here although 2 Barn Owls were hunting over the Brooks and giving good views although the light was poor.

We then visited a couple of other sites without success and ended up at the view point overlooking Amberley wild brooks which were very flooded and hundreds of ducks mainly Wigeon and Teal although reasonable numbers of Pintail, but no raptors, swans or grey geese were seen.
