29th February, 2012 Whetsted Gravel Pits Near Tonbridge
We decided to twitch the adult female Hooded Merganser at Whetsted Gravel Pits. It kept to the centre of the gravel pit and once flew to the other side of the pit. Fully winged and I couldn't see any unusual wear. Unfortunately, never saw the legs.
