24th October,2010, Beachy & Arlington Reservoir

Doreen & myself first visited Beachy Head where there was a reasonable diurnal passage, although bushes very quiet with 1 Ring Ouzel & 1 Corn Bunting being the best.

We then went on to Arlington Reservoir where we had some nice views of the juv. Pec Sand and also a Migrant Hawker Dragonfly.

23rd October,2010 Kithurst Hill near Storrington

Doreen and myself had to visit Pulborough this morning so decided to look for the Snow Bunting on Kithurst Hill near Storrington.

22nd October,2010 Beachy & the Cuckmere

Doreen & myself first visited Beachy and did most of the Headland but very quiet. Few Thrushes, 1 Black Redstart 1 Corn Bunting being the best we could find.

We then decided to twitch the Shorelark in the Cuckmere and obtained excellent views in superb sunny light.

16th October,2010. Beachy Head & Newhaven

First visited Beachy with Doreen and at long last obtained some good views of the Pallas's. Also saw Short Eared Owl ,1-2 Merlins, 2 Ring Ouzels, small numbers of both Redwings & Fieldfares.

We then went and twitched the adult Rose Coloured Starling at Newhaven Heights.
