10th July, 2019 Near Burgess Hill
Driving out of Burgess Hill towards Haywards Heath a Red Kite flew alongside the road for a short while.

11th July, 2019 Beachy Head and Newhaven Harbour Overcast at first becoming sunny and humid. W 1

We first visited Shooters Bottom and located 2 Nightingales calling, both were very elusive with poor views of one. Also no Common Whitethroats were seen here which was surprising. We then visited the Old Trapping Area, Radio mast bushes, Icky Ridge, Belle Tout wood and Birling lane. Very few birds present in the area other than corvids.
