3rd April, 2021 Barcombe

Visited Barcombe early morning in the hope of seeing the White-throated Sparrow which has been present since February, and as we were arriving the Sparrow suddenly flew in and landed on a tree stump some 5 metres from us. Still early morning light but tried to get a photo (see below) but very low speed and it came out blurry. Within a few minutes we were joined by SL, but we were unable to re-find it and after 90 minutes we decided to head for home. Simon later informed me that it took another 90 minutes before it showed again. We also saw 2 male Bullfinches, and 3 Blackcaps.
